Embera Indigenous Village, Panama

Embera Indigenous Village

While visiting Panama City, I went on a tour of the Embera Indigenous Village. The tour starts by picking you up at your place. We then drove for one hour from Panama City to Chagres National Park, where the indigenous people waited to take us to their community through the river with their traditional canoes. Then, in their community, they welcomed us with traditional music, provided a great tour, gave us an amazing speech about their culture, and performed traditional Indigenous dances. The tour also includes a traditional lunch: fried fish with plantain and a bowl with seasonal fruits.

In summary, this was an extraordinary opportunity to immerse oneself in the vibrant culture of the Embera indigenous community, nestled in the lush Rainforest of Panama. The day was filled with the serenity of rivers and the awe-inspiring beauty of Waterfalls! I wholeheartedly endorse this tour for those seeking a truly inspiring travel experience.
